Icon Suggestion for Systembolagets app

I’ve been looking into Systembolagets app lately.

I think it looks great in many ways but it’s one detail that I’ve been thinking on.

To me I don’t instantly understand what the icon for “pris”(price in swedish) is suppose to look like.

With the context “pris” I understand that it’s looks like a stack of bills.

But without the context it could be any kind of stacked cards.

Personally I prefer when a icon are able to explain itself without the use of context.

So I have made a suggestion on a different icon.

Hopefully this icon are easier to understad without using the context but are still connected to the context.

My design suggestion for Eniros mobile app

I been looking into Eniros AR navigation function in there app.

So basically when you search for a store or company you get the option to go to reality navigation witch mean you get in AR mode.

In AR mode can easily see the direction of you target by box icons appearing in the camera and you can easily follow them. (Picture below)

I think it’s a really clever solution for musing AR.

But personally I felt overwhelmed of all windows popping up in front of the camera screen and had a hard time see where I was actually going.

Well my idea I got then was to make some sort of delete function so the user can clear the view.

So I tweeted Eniro this and got this response.

I think it’s really nice when a company accepts input from the public and are easy to contact.

Anyway as an mobile app UX/UI designer I was more curious to actually try my idea out.

So down below you can see that I added a few details to the current Eniro app.

In the three yellow boxes and the red one I have added a “x in a circle” button icon.

The idea is that when you press it you will close it in the same way you are used to close down webb-pages.

I have left a few boxes untouched so you can se how it currently looks like without the x-buttom.

What do you think? is this an improvement?

Pleas leet me know.

I’m Anton Håkanson.

Currently I’m studying at Mobile application at Hyper island.

So I’m learning how to come up with, design and develop mobile apps from scratch t finished product.

Im also learning teamwork and work as a project manager in my team.

As a person:

I take life lightly and with a sense of humor.

I am social but in the  same way I am a thinker and don’t mind thinking throughout stuffs in peace.

Analytic and logical in my way of thinking and usually end up with unique thoughts.

I believe most problems in life can be solved with my calm and logic approach

As a mobile UX/UI designer:

I’m focusing on keeping my app really simple to understand and to use.

I believe that if I can’t open a app and instantly know exactly how to use it then I need to get back to the drawing board.

It’s no webb-site are software we are talking about.

It’s apps.

As a Project manager:

I believe in communication, easy to understand goals and motivation for the team.

Openness for trying new methods are key to me ad my team usually have a few surprises to expect during a project.

But I always keep high expectation on our work.

What I have done before:

Industrial design education Thorildsplan High school Sweden.

Worked as Scuba instruct in Sweden.

You can talk to me about:
Mobile UI/UX design
Good or bad apps
Scuba diving
Bad cooking skills

Me and Alexander Auld are hosting a mobile Workshop at ”Hyper island open day” so
If you are a mobile fan as me and are going then I’ll see you the 11/2.

Cheers!
